How to Plan Your Project and Build a Lucrative Amazon Affiliate Website – Build a Cubicle Free Business Podcast – Episode 9
I really hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed doing it. Doug Cunnington, the guy I interview, has a remarkable story that even many Pros can learn from and something that may be the most important thing you can do.
Benjamin Franklin — ‘If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!’
In episode 1 of my podcast the first thing I did was work on a simple project plan with Spencer and Darcy because I know it can help significantly. That is why I am so excited about having Doug as a guest.
You see Doug is a project manager for a living and he has applied project planning to affiliate sites with clear results. Also incredibly less than a year ago Doug had never even touched a WordPress site, much less build an affiliate site that makes some serious money.
As you will hear though, none of what Doug does is by accident – he plans and executes his projects like clockwork and that is what I believe we can all learn to do better.
- Why project planning is so important
- How Doug went from zero to over $4000/month ($6200 in December actually – I interviewed him part way through December)
In This Episode You Will Learn;
- The story of a man who has a day job as a project manager and then decided to apply his experience to building online affiliate business.
- How project planning can help build your business – regardless of the project
- The fundamentals of rapidly building a successful Amazon affiliate website

Hi Quinn- Great Interview! Thanks Doug for sharing your experiences. What I thought most interesting was Doug using the skills he has learned in the “cubicle” to help him with creating an income generating site. Alot of transferable skills!

Great Interview Quinn.
Thanks for having Doug on your site. I know Doug and had the pleasure of being asked as a Domain Broker (DomainPeel) to be a part of his and Lewis PBN course. It’s great to know that you can still make money online with niche sites. If it’s ok with you Quinn, I also offer Keyword Niche Packages over at my site at: http://keyword-helper.com – I thought this would be good for your readers who are thinking of starting a niche site and for those that don’t want to spend hours or days looking for keywords for their niche.
Thanks Quinn,
Best,
Cesar
